Our annual appointment dedicated to the discovery of the most fascinating Mediterranean archipelago returns; The week of sailing that unfolds between seductive landings, good food, ancient culture, and the sea — lots of sea.

Each summer, Turistica il Gabbiano offers weekly shifts with boarding / disembarkation in Portorosa to tackle from Vulcano to Salina, between Alicudi and Stromboli, passing through Lipari, Panarea and Filicudi.

Born as a navigation experiment in a flotilla with touristic aims, for 15 years the Aeolian meeting has combined the pleasure of life in the bay, marked by bathing, with that of sailing aimed at discovering landings and volcanic islands. Our proposed itinerary combines always different perspectives and suggestions; History and tradition are intertwined with the simplest entertainment.

Participants can rent their own boat, with their friends, and then join the routes — setting sail with the other yachts in the fleet — assisted but free to steer the bow to follow their own inspirations.

It is also possible to join the crew individually or in groups. These crews will be led by skippers who are sailing experts and in love with the territory.

The intent behind these annual gatherings remains the same for many years: To combine sea-life, socialization, and knowledge of the areas where the routes cross — to give value to a complex and stimulating activity, in which enthusiasts and simple practitioners can find satisfaction and opportunities to exchange and share experiences and suggestions.
